A hardy, decorative evergreen shrub to 5m (16′) with unusual spherical red flowers covered in protruding cream styles appearing profusely in Autumn and Winter amid long, dark, sickle-shaped leaves. Attracts nectar feeding birds. Drought and frost resistant.
