Grows 15cm- 1m high and wide.

This Australian native, Knobby Club Rush, has a naturally upright or gently weeping growth habit with evergreen, deep green cylindrical leaves.

It quickly takes root and is known for its knobbly, echidna-like seedheads. It's an ideal choice for adding texture to water features, ponds, and dry creek beds.

The plant is also a great addition to filtration beds and thrives in well-drained sandy or salty soil.

In the spring and summer, cream-colored flowers appear atop the foliage. Its versatility makes it a great option for coastal areas, streetscapes, mass plantings, and providing contrast against other grasses.

Despite being native to the coast, Knobby Club Rush also thrives in inland gardens.
