TUBESTOCK

Salvia ‘Blue Abyss’ is an ideal choice for gardens with hot, dry summers and cold winters, as it can endure light frosts.

This plant offers versatility by growing well in both full sun and partial shade - like under Eucalyptus trees - making a beautiful display of purple.

Similar to Salvia 'Anthony Parker', but with a more pronounced blue flower and darker velvet calyces, ‘Blue Abyss’ impresses with its parentage of Salvia leucanthe.

This tuberous plant can reach a size of 1m X 1m. The flowers of ‘Blue Abyss’, a deep, velvety purple with intricate markings, bloom in the heat of summer, from November to February. ‘Anthony Parker’, by comparison, flowers between March and August.
