Lavandula stoechas Avonview, commonly known as Spanish lavender, is an exquisite perennial shrub beloved for its beguiling fragrance and majestic blooms.

Its narrow, gray-green leaves provide an elegant backdrop for its sumptuous flower spikes, which are topped with lush flowers in shades of purple.

From within, a petite tuft of purple petals emerges, resembling a butterfly in flight. Bees, butterflies, and other pollinators are naturally drawn in by Avonview's captivating nectar, and the show only intensifies as it blooms from spring to summer.

Planting 40 cm apart yields an exquisite small hedge and is ideal for well-drained, sandy, loamy soils in full sun. Grows to approx. 80cm H x 60cm W.

Garden Uses: For lavish potted displays, generous mass plantings, modest screening, beautiful patio areas, confined spaces, and driveways.

Planting Tips: Renew the soil with a bag of pre-aged animal manure or compost. Applying this to the soil's surface and mixing it in thoroughly will create an optimal environment for your plants.

Dig a hole that's wider, never deeper, than the pot the plant came in and fit it in the space.

Afterwards, fill any gaps with the extra soil, and give the plant a generous soaking of water.

If planting inside a pot, remember to select an appropriately-sized container and rely on premium potting mix, as it contains all additional fertilizers and wetting agents vital for a healthy plant.

Please note: No live plants can be sent to Tasmania, N.T, W.A or overseas.
