River She-oak. 15-20m high x 8-10m wide. Tall dark green, evergreen tree, conical habit, straight trunked, narrow with ascending branches. The root systems of the C. cunninghamiana are vigorous and matted, and it can be difficult to grow turf and other plants under these trees. Looks best when planted in groves, clumps or as a screening plant. High tolerance of water logged sites and will tolerate a variety of soild conditions from heavy clays to sands. Provides food or habitat for native fauna, parrots and cockatoos.
