Melaleuca lanceolata
Commonly referred to as dryland tea tree or moonah, Melaleuca lanceolata is a versatile shrub that occasionally develops into a modest tree, typically reaching heights around 5 metres.
This resilient species thrives in both exposed coastal environments and sheltered inland locations, showing a marked preference for alkaline soil conditions. Its exceptional tolerance to salt spray and waterlogging makes it particularly valuable for challenging garden positions.
Like other Melaleucas, this cultivar responds exceptionally well to pruning, establishing itself as an excellent choice for creating sophisticated screening solutions and formal hedging applications.
