Scleranthus biforus

A gorgeous little ground covering plant that has a mossy look, with bright green fine leaves. An interesting feature plant that forms sculptural cushions, and moulds itself around rocks. It is also good for pots, either planted to contrast with other plants, or as a cute plant on its own. It is best in a full sun position with regular moisture, and will also do well in partial shade. Adapts to most soil types. Will tolerate dry spells and frost. It is a good lawn substitute as long as it gets very little traffic- it is lawn look only.
