Photinia glabra Rubens
Photinia glabra Rubens Ruby is a finer leaf variety of Photinia with new foliage being bright crimson red that fades to green when mature making this a lovely shrub, hedge or screening plant. Clusters of dainty white flowers appear in Summer.
Glabra Rubens has a less dense growth habit than Red Robin, making it a popular choice as a light screen. Clipping throughout the year will flush on new growth to repeat the bright show of colour.
Plant in full sun to part shade position, frost tolerant and requires little water once established.
