Penstemon ‘Blackbird’ TUBESTOCK - Non Native

TUBESTOCK 

Penstemon Blackbird (Penstemon Hybrid) has deep purple blooms with a slight white throat.

A long flowering softly billowing shrub that definitely deserve a place in the cottage garden. Flowering from late Spring through to early Winter, these plants are tolerant to dry spells and very hardy and prefers full sun to part shade position in the garden, prune fairly hard in Winter to rejuvenate and stop plants from becoming woody.
