'Ashy hakea'

The Ashy leaved Hakea is a striking bushy shrub to 2.5 metres in height with thick leathery ash coloured grey-green leaves.

Brightly coloured flowers that are initially yellow but mature to orange occur in rounded clusters in the leaf axis in spring.

Endemic to Western Australia.

Prefers a light to medium soil in an open soil position, drought, and frost and flood resistant.

Live plants cannot be shipped to WA, NT, TAS or overseas due to quarantine restrictions. Myrtaceaee family plants also cannot be shipped to SA.
