The small, cream-colored flowers are abundant, adding to the tree's beauty. The name "Melliodora" refers to its honey-scented blossoms.
The leaves are egg-shaped and blue-green in color, while the bark on upper branches is smooth and creamy-white.
This tree is native to most of south-east Australia and thrives in a range of climates.
It is commonly used as an ornamental garden tree, for wildlife shelter, honey production, and revegetation. It is also known to be humidity, drought, and frost tolerant.
