Allocasuarina Muellarina is a luxurious shrub with a versatile nature, able to thrive in a range of positions and soil types, from clay to sandy.

This unique and striking small sheoak is perfect for creating elegant screening, adorned with vibrant red flowers.

It grows best in scrub and heath, favoring rocky siliceous soils, and has a moderate growth rate and impressive lifespan.

Traditionally, the young shoots and cones of this plant were used as bush tucker, while the trees themselves were utilized for making tools.

During summer showers, the hollows in the trees served as a water reservoir.

Additionally, the nutrient-fixing fungus can be established by inoculating the propagation mix with soil from healthy She-Oaks.
