Eucalyptus papuana
Common name: Ghost gum
This Eucalyptus variety has a compact size and features a stark white trunk that creates a striking contrast to its large, lance-shaped green leaves.
Its growth pattern is semi-weeping and produces minimal litter.
It thrives in full sun and is commonly pruned to maintain its moderate growth rate and attractive shape.
This tree can reach a height of 40'-60' and is known for its drought hardiness.
It's often used in various landscapes including freeways, driveways, parks, and residential areas due to its ability to withstand high winds without littering or dropping flowers and leaves.
Additionally, it has a ghost-like appearance at night, making it an excellent single specimen plant.
