Sticky Hopbush - Compact shrub growing to 1-3m high.
The leaves are wedge-shaped and the plant is found in the mallee scrub. Requires light, well-drained soil in a sunny position. Very hardy and worth growing for the colourful fruits. Will tolerate moderate frosts and withstand extended dry conditions.
Great success as a hedge due to the dense habit.
Flowers are inconspicuous, with not petals but the spctacualr feature of this plant is the brilliant colour of the seed capsules.
