Bulbine bulbosa - Bulbine Lily
TUBESTOCK
A great native alternative to daffodils, with the added bonus of fragrance, and a long flowering period, from spring to early autumn. It naturally grows on a range of soil types, and it withstands frosts. It likes to be kept moist, as it will die off in dry periods, but the corms will resprout with irrigation. A great plant for rockeries, flower gardens and containers. Looks lovely in large clumps. Can be propagated from seed or by division. It grows from a corm, which is edible, choose the largest fat ones and roast for the best taste. The above ground parts are toxic in large quantities.
No live plants can be sent to W.A, N.T, Tasmania or overseas.
