Callistemon subulatus x citrnus cherry
The Callistemon Cherry Time is an exceptional native hedging plant with narrow, glossy leaves and stunning bronze-colored new growth.
During warmer months, it produces red, bottle brush flowers that attract native birds and bees.
Due to its dense, weeping habit, it is suitable for use as a hedge or specimen plant in a pot. It is recommended to space these plants 80cm apart for hedging.
It thrives in full sun and is hardy, tolerating drought, frost, and coastal conditions.
Cherry time will grow to be 1.5-1.8m high and 1-1.5m wide.
Prefers well-draining soil. Pruning soon after flowering is best for this species.
