BOTANICAL FEATURES: Creamy-white bottlebrush flowers in spring fade to gold, while new red-pink leaves add year-round interest.

This bushy native tree has a slightly weeping habit and papery white bark on its single trunk.

Ideal for native gardens, bog gardens, and coastal landscapes to attract nectar feeding birds.

Can also be hard-pruned for native hedging and mixed borders, or allowed to grow into a tall tree.

Can tolerate drought and waterlogging once established, but needs protection from frost.

Requires well-drained soil and a sunny to partly shaded spot in the garden. As roots may become invasive, plant at least 10m away from buildings if allowing it to grow to full size,     2M and Above.

Regularly mulch and water until established (around 12 weeks), prune after flowering, and use a slow-release native fertilizer for healthy leaves and abundant blooms in the next season.
